Masters Paris: Americans Ginepri and Roddick Advance

Can we say enough about Robbie Ginepri? Ranked 103rd on July 4th, Ginepri has posted a 28-8 record since to rise into the top 20. He reached the semifinals of Masters Cincinatti, Masters Madrid, and the U.S. Open, while also claiming the title at the RCA Championships, during that time period. Other news: Two of the best servers on tour, Andy Roddick and Taylor Dent, faced off today in the second round of Paris. Dent snapped a streak of three first round losses with a win yesterday over Sebastian Grosjean 6-4, 7-6(4). Though today, his luck turned. Dent lost to Roddick for the fourth consecutive time. I was a bit surprised that it took Roddick three sets to finish Dent off 6-4, 6-7(2), 7-5. Roddick saved eleven break points in his win today.
